Kabarole District, Uganda – In a significant breakthrough, the Joint Security Task Team, comprised of the Police and the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF), has apprehended five suspects accused of issuing terror-related threats to the business community, schools, and tea farmers in Busovo sub county. The apprehended individuals have been identified as Nzabahimana Narsis (29), Baguma Ronald (22), Tusiime Jackson (25), Busobozi Richard (16), and Kagaba Derrick (14). Acting on credible intelligence, the task team successfully apprehended the suspects, who are believed to be responsible for posting violent threats toward the community in Kirere and law enforcement authorities.

The recent attack on a school in Kasese has highlighted the urgency of addressing such threats promptly.
