Bobi Wine Pays Tribute to Hon. Hajj Hussein Kyanjo: A Courageous Advocate for Justice and Freedom
Kampala, Uganda – Bobi Wine, the prominent opposition leader and champion for change in Uganda, mourns the passing of Hon. Hajj Hussein Kyanjo, one of the most outstanding freedom fighters of their generation. In a heartfelt message, Bobi Wine pays tribute to the late Hon. Kyanjo, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to justice and freedom.
Having last checked on the late Hon. Kyanjo a few weeks back, Bobi Wine recalls the courage and resilience he witnessed in the face of great pain. Bobi Wine had been optimistic about Hon. Kyanjo’s recovery, but sadly, the nation received the devastating news of his demise on 22nd July at Kibuli Hospital.
In the halls of Parliament, Hon. Kyanjo’s eloquence echoed with passionate courage as he fearlessly debated in defence of the Constitution and the oppressed people of Uganda. Bobi Wine recalls the influence of his speeches, which ignited a spark in the hearts of many Ugandans to take a deeper interest in the governance of their country.
Bobi Wine fondly remembers Hon. Kyanjo as a fearless advocate for justice, who used every platform available to amplify the voices of the marginalized and oppressed. He fought passionately for their rights, standing up against injustice and oppression wherever he encountered it.
“Today, we mourn the passing of a true hero, Hon. Hajj Hussein Kyanjo. His legacy as a courageous advocate for justice will forever guide us in our quest for a better Uganda,” Bobi Wine expressed in his message on Twitter.
In his final words of tribute, Bobi Wine reflects on Hon. Hajj Hussein Kyanjo’s indomitable spirit, stating, “Rest in eternal peace, Hon. Kyanjo. Your unwavering dedication to the betterment of Uganda will forever inspire us to stand up for what we believe in. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.”
