From rugs to grace

Joy Christine Turamuhawe a final year student of Makerere Business school started her cleaning business in 2019 with only herself as labor and 3000 ugandan shillings for a boda to the first cleaning job she got. The love she has for cleaning made it easier for her to go through with all the hardships that came her way including friends who discouraged her from continuing with her dream.
Currently, Joy owns a cleaning company known as CJAY HOME SOLUTIONS and has provided employment to a total of 20 youths.
On the 1st of September 2021, Joy opened her first office for CJAY HOME SOLUTIONS in a lavish party with her close family members and friends in attendance. She went on to post on her Twitter page saying, “I am blessed to open up my first office for CJAY Home Solutions. We finally have a home, God can really pick you up from rugs to grace.”
