Music has lost it’s gist
“music is no longer a booming business as it used to be,” says Hon. Geoffrey Lutaaya
Singer Geoffrey Lutaaya, now member of Parliament for Kakuuto county has told media that music has lost so much of value of recent.
To him, the music business seems to have lost gist, and therefore he is not into recording that much. Talking to a presenter, the “oli miss” singer revealed that he had not visited any studio for over three years now.
“I have not been to studio for three to four years now. I have been busy here and there. You see, music is no longer such an earning business as it used to be. However, you cannot leave it because you were born with it…,”he said.
The singer had visited a studio for the first time in three years to record his song dubbed “ekisa Kya mukama” which is yet to be outed. The song praises God for having enabled him to win his elections and become successful in most of his projects.
Currently, several musicians are seeking refuge in the Lord. Some have been baptized, others gave in to Jesus and others have released gospel songs.
