Waswa Bbosa to use CAF experience for BUL FC in the Uganda Cup semifinal.
It’s a few minutes to the kickoff of another Uganda Cup semifinal where Express FC and BUL FC will lock horns at 3:30PM at Technical center, Njeru.
The winner of this semifinal will face Vipers SC on Sunday 26th September who already marked their place with a 2-0 win against Police FC yesterday.
The Uganda premier league and Kagame Cup reigning champions head into this game after bowing down to an away goals rule against Almerrikh SC that saw them out of the CAF Champions League qualification stage.
This will be the 17th meeting between both sides with the Red Eagles managing four wins compared to BUL FC’s seven with five draws between them and this will be first time the two clubs meet in this tournament.
BUL FC will be aiming at ending Express FC’s dominance in this cup as the red eagles have 11 titles at the same level with KCCA FC.
According to Express FC head coach Waswa Bbosa, he expects his side to use the experience from the CAF games to succeed in the Uganda Cup.
Having been eliminated from the CAF Champions League, we are back to battle for the Uganda Cup, we learnt a lot on the continent which we have been working on as a team, everything we learnt we hope to apply beginning with the BUL game,” Bbosa explained.
