“Bomber could be a civilian” Maj Gen Muhwezi

On Wednesday morning, minister of security Maj. Gen, Jim Muhwezi made a statement on the twin bombs that strake Kampala City Centre on Tuesday morning leaving over six dead.

In his statement, he outed the possibility of the identified boomer Mansoor Uthman being a civilian manipulated by a terrorist “there is a strong possibility that the man who has since been identified as Mansoor Uthman, was approached by the terrorist agents and paid to deliver a package around CPS, before they remotely detonated the bomb in the backpack.” he said.

This follows the findings in the investigations stating that one  the boomers were not aware of what they were carrying.

More investigations are still on going.
