League sponsors Startimes launch the SUPL

The official sponsors and broadcasters of the Uganda Premier league, Startimes have today launched the new season of 2021/22 at Kati Kati bar and restaurant.

The season is expected to kick off on 15th October 2021 as the reigning champions Express FC host the new comers in the league Arua Hill FC at Wankulukuku.

Peter Kibazo a member of the Futsal Super League explained that there are some clubs that haven’t confirmed their host stadiums in the forth coming season.

“There are  five clubs that are yet to confirm their host stadiums and we hope all is sorted,”  Kibazo revealed.

Due to the fact that the number of fans allowed in the stadium will be limited to 200, Startimes as the broadcasters are targeting having more matches on TV to satisfy the fans that won’t make it to the stadium.

“The target is to have 120 games on TV in the league and a good number in the Fufa Big League,” Ismail Lule the Startimes brand and Marketing Director said.

The few fans in the stadium are expected to observe all the government guidelines to control the spread of Covid 19, as there will be highly restricted movements in the stadium.
